Lucky 13

Hi everyone!!

I know I've been MIA for a while, but I'll be back soon... as soon as I've settled at the office and Cara has settled in at school.

Lots has happened the last couple of months - I started this blog, I've been doing a bit more make-up work and I started writing articles for Beauty Bulletin!! Check it out here. I really love writing and doing reviews, but I realised that it took over for a month or two. I always do this; when one part of my life isn't going too well, I seem to obsess over others. Balance is what I need and what I will try my utmost to achieve this year. A healthy balance.

I do have lots of plans for my blog though - loads of reviews, more personal posts and this will now also be a 'mommy blog'. But I will post when I have something to say. I will not force it.

My day job needs loads more attention. I believe that there are only good things in store for us. It is time for the wheel to turn and the past couple of years have to be put behind us. I pray this with all my heart.

I also need some more attention. I need to get moving, get healthy. I will put it out there for all to read: the extra 20kg's that I've been carrying around since my pregnancy will soon be gone!

Anyhoo... I would like to thank all my readers for taking the time to read my posts. It means more to me than you will ever know! I wish you a year filled with light, happiness, success and love. May this be a lucky year for us all.
